First lady of Polish electronic & club scene. As a vocalist she came to be known for her numerous collaborations which were compiled on the album "Feat. Novika" (Sissy, 2004). In 2006 she released her first vinyl „Finally” EP on her own little label, Beats Friendly. It was recorded together with very talented Polish producers: Jacek Sienkiewicz, Agim, CLS + Wax and Innocent Sorcerers. The track „Finally” was also well received outside Poland. It was played twice by Gilles Peterson in his Worldwide show and it was released on compilations by Tom Middleton (The Trip 2) and Towa Tei (Motivation Five).

Novika‘s first proper solo album called „Tricks Of Life” was released in late 2006 through Kayax label. It includes chilled songs written by Novika in collaboration with many Polish producers & musicians.

The new record entitled „Lovefinder“ is full of energy. Again Novika invited different producers to work with her. One of them is Maximilian Skiba, well known outside Poland for his special disco sound and releases for Gomma (as The KDMS), Boxer, Fine. The single, „Miss Mood“ has been remixed by four Polish producers (Kamp!, Seb Skalski, Last Robots, Bodizio) and turned into a new, beautiful song for the floor by Hot Toddy (Crazy P, UK).

Novika has her own band, playling at main Polish festivals (Audioriver, Open’er) and Wilsonic Festival in Bratislava in 2008. She also performs with her dj-collective Beats Friendly as an improvising vocalist. They have released two compilations (Friendly Beats) and keep playing in major clubs around Poland, also organizing events.

Radio has also been her passion for years, she has worked for many stations in Poland, always playing the music she loves. Now she hostst two shows at Roxy.fm. Novika always supports other Polish acts, also through compilations with only Polish music („Leniwa Niedziela:”, „Polskie Leniwe”).
